My feet LOVE these Mudees! No more squashed toes. Super comfy, glove-like fit, right from the first wear. I have long suffered foot pain, bunions, etc. These boots have done the trick! My feet have stopped hurting. The recycled uppers keep my feet very warm, which is great as I live in a cold area. They'll probably be a bit too warm for summer. They are quite waterproof, which means they don't breathe. The sizing runs very small. I normally wear a size 37 XW. I bought size 39 in these Mudee boots and they only just fit me in length. If I buy another pair, I may actually go up another half a size, so they will accommodate thick socks. I do not recommend using the sizing measuring tools on the website. I needed to return my first purchase as it was way too small. So, here's what I did: I measured the in-soles of a couple of my own shoes that do fit me in length. I used that measurement to choose my correct size, by looking at the inner sole measurements on the size guide. That worked very successfully.
The shoe fit is more roomy than other shoes I have used in the past. The space that my toes have felt awkward at first but very soon I came to realise that all my previous shoes have been too squashed. The roomy toe design is how toes should sit. It is a very natural resting place. These are my everyday shoes and I will look into another pair very soon.
Look great feel great
I unboxed them and wore them all day wandering through red dust in Western Australia. Although these were bought for winter I found them nice and cool to wear on a 30 odd degree day. They have great grip and stability on pea gravel and also walking up slopes. Gave them a quick wipe down and good to go in the city. I have bought numerous pairs of shoes from Bprimal and have had great service eveytime :)
These are ok. They’re comfortable and wide and the grip feels good so far. I asked advice about sizing and was advised that a 44 would be the right size but a 45 would have bern better. I’m a 42.5 in most shoes. There seems to be a defect on the way the tongue of the boot Is seen. It’s two layers of fabric (the lining and the outer boot) sewn together but the outer is larger than the lining and so you can’t ever get the tongue to sit flat. Which might not be a a problem except that I can’t lace these up tight enough because of the bulky tongue getting in the way.
