Ordered 1/2 a size larger as instructed on site. Still 1/2 a size too small. Also, rubbed on both my heels enough to give blisters. Quality seemed good on face value. Returned.

Very happy with the make and feel of these shoes. Will be eager to see how they last and wear in. For those buying in Australia trying to figure out USA and bprimal sizes, do get a six up but not 1.5 sizes up.

Comes also with a set of black laces, I swapped the red ones out maybe it's for some but too loud for mine. I had a small amount of rubbing on the heel for the first couple of hours but after that they just keep getting more and more comfortable. Even ran the local athletics track in them... 400m and a few 100m repeats that's how versatile they are (managed a top speed of 28km/h in them and jeans according to the gps). There's probably nothing you can't do in them. They are my everyday shoes now.
I've just worn the Boulder boots daily for over two months. They were comfortable from day one and were also great as a slip on boot camping, with the laces undone I could still walk around fine. I never need to lace them firm and my foot moves freely about but with sufficient support. I was uncertain how the grip would be, but they were better than any other hiking boot/shoe I have ever worn including vibram. They had a good work out in granite country and the grip held even on wet, smooth rock surfaces. I found I was at times skipping down slopes when others were taking every step cautiously. I never had any skeletal/ joint issues, knee in particular which I used to have before transitioning fully to barefoot and zero drop. I made some grounding straps out of an old earthing mat that I held in place with a piece of velcro and it dropped my body voltage down to almost zero just via the leather upper with no actual direct skin contact needed. The only thing I will mention is that the soles have been coming away from the uppers. Faye followed up on my email right away and they have been replaced under warranty. Generally I would look elsewhere next time if that occurred but it doesn't appear to be a common thing, but also the boots are that good that I would still have to buy them again, providing the sole can be reattached. I thought the Primal 2's would be my shoe of choice fo general hiking but I found the comfort and grip of the boots to be much better. They were superb with temperature regulation from sub zero to highest temp so far 27degrees c. Lastly, usually during or at the end of a walk I just want to take my boots off, with the Boulder boots I would be happy to wear them to bed.
So far very comfy :)
