AustraliaTopo Runventure- a good generalist
This is my third pair of Topo shoes and have had very different experiences between the models. My favourite pair for trail running and hiking are the Mountain Racer which provides good support on the rocky rugged terrain I spend most of my time due to living in the Blue mountains. The Runventure offer a comfortable ride but I the sole and structure do not have the support for any long trail runs of big hikes. They are just as advertised - a good “road to trail shoe” which means to me that they don’t really excel in either. They are good for light hikes and casual use. I dont have any issues with them but do not have any positives that stand out as yet. If you need a casual shoe with zero drop, wide toe box for a gentle life with a few light walks these could be perfect. I have tried many brands of minimalist shoes for this job but found they fall apart after 1-3 months. I hope they hold together as long as my other Mountain Racer Topos
