I was anxious about introducing a shoe with Zero lift and minimal padding as I have had foot problems for 35 years. But there was really no transition period, they felt and wore well immediately. Still early days but very impressed so far !
I have now had these shoes for over a year and I love how easy they are to put on and have a wide forefoot area for toe spreading.
Useable for any activity I do. My go-to and #1 shoe.
I don't like heavy or encasing shoes but the plastic ones are sweaty I think . last yr I bought a pair of Freet shoes and I love them. light as feathers, washable and strong . they protect the feet and I wear them out walking dogs , all day. if its wet I wear waterproof socks
Amazing shoe, I am a long distance hiker/walker and this is my shoe for training and events. I also participate in other endurance adventures including cycle touring, thru-hikes and trail running and this shoe suits them all. before i converted to barefoot and minimalist foot lifestyle i developed plantar fasciitis but this shoe helps me carry on in my activities for hours, day after day accumulating up to 80 miles per week in training. i dont usually get sucked into brand hyped technology used to get you to buy the latest shoe but the Poron really does work. Again great shoe and cant wait to see how it performs in this years long distance challenge events.
I've tried VFFs, Merrel, VivoBF, Xero, Nike free, Altra and Inov-8, but the Respond is one of the best! Nice wide fit, and uppers adjust to the shape of the foot. ????
