Very happy with these shoes - they encourage me to walk faster.
The Altra Escalante feel fantastic on the feet. My big toe on left foot felt funny at first. tt is too early from me to see if there are any of real advertised benefits to the feet. I have been wearing all day everyday since purchase. I hope to notice difference/improvement with foot /toe alignment and gait over time. I do wish the company would consider designing dressier shoe as this is not a shoe I can wear at work or formal events.

Recently purchased Bprimal’s 5-toe socks in mini crew length. Love these socks - soft, well made, and help manage my MTP joint foot pain by spreading my toes. Do need to keep big toenail short to avoid holes developing after a while. Order and delivery process is always smooth, and customer service consistently excellent. Have purchased multiple pairs of shoes and socks over the years and remain a loyal customer.
Too short, more like a longer ankle sock. So perhaps less useful for using with boots or for winter. Asked bprimal through their info email about when they’re planning to release a longer version (as they say in one of their posts) but no response yet two weeks later. Otherwise, it’s a great sock in many ways and I’m planning on purchasing more pairs for summer and shoulder seasons.
Lovely fabric and perfect sizing! They accomodate the toe spacers well and when I walk, I marvel at the comfort when I walk. The transition from what I was wearing before to now is a game changer!
Very informative videos explaining why we get pain and how to alleviate it with short daily mobilising exercises to strengthen the feet and toes.
Fortunately for me I was able to take some time off work and with the nice weather and amid the dormant bindies was able to prepare my feet by barefoot walking on soft grass to sand and stones half an hour each day! Hence, being able to adjust to the essential toe spacers quickly!
The shoes are absolutely divine to wear. It has only been two weeks and already I feel a shift in how my feet feel.
