I had a black pair, they were so comfortable so I bought a white pair…the blue ones have arrived too. Perfect fit, am very happy!!!
I have been wearing these shoes for the last 2-3 weeks. These are my second pair of barefoot shoes and my first pair of Lems. I bought these as a pair of slip-on shoes to use around the house.
These shoes have a thicker sole than some of the more purist varieties of barefoot shoes. The thicker sole was one of the deciding factors in selecting these shoes. My house is built on a concrete slab and does not have carpet which means the floor is uniformly flat and has no give. I find wearing thin-soled barefoot shoes on this surface for protracted periods too uncomfortable. The Lems solved this problem.
The only real downside to these shoes is that you tend to feel less of what is under your feet due to the thicker sole, which makes you feel a little less connected with the ground. This is a more than reasonable trade-off for the extra comfort it brings. I think the thicker sole makes these a great bridging shoe for someone wanting to get into going barefoot. Perhaps with time I will reach a level where I can wear very thin-soled shoes on these particularly hard, flat surfaces; however, until then I am really glad to have these.
These are my first pair of "barefoot" shoes. I really like them. They have a somewhat narrow profile, which means that they fit my narrow feet perfectly. It took me a couple of days to get use to them, after which I did notice a change. I definitely feel more stable, particularly whilst doing exercises standing on one leg.
[Update November 2025] Still like these shoes, but I do struggle with them if I am largely walking on hard, flat surfaces (e.g. carparks, shopping malls, concrete pavement). Not sure if this will improve with time, but for the time being these are not shoes that I can wear all day on those kinds of surfaces. I am willing to accept that it could be user error and that I may have gone too hard too quickly, given I have not worn barefoot shoes previously. Still think they are good quality shoes.
