Our Fit recommendation for this shoe based on customer feedback: Fit is Average. Most people will wear their normal size with this model.

If you don't know your normal EU size, or would like to double check sizing for this model, please use the sizing tools we have provided here like this:

1. Print out our Printable Size Guide for this model and stand on it - making sure your printer is set to 100% Scale. Choose the size where your longest toe finishes. If you are on the line, consider if you will be wearing thick socks, or prefer to have less or more space in your shoes and choose accordingly.

2. Use our Strutfit online sizing app to check your feet measurement and it will tell you what size to order - Click on "WHAT IS MY SIZE?" above. You will need an a4 sheet of paper and a smartphone for this. Once you have done this once, it will also tell you what size you need for all the other shoes on our website as you browse through other models.

3. Use the sizing chart provided which shows the insole length and width of the shoe which you can use to compare the measurements against another pair of shoes that fit you well. Or you can compare them with a sizing chart from another brand and work out your size that way. This is not a fool-safe way though, as the volume and material in the upper of the shoe can also make a big difference to the fit so best to use this in conjunction with one of the other sizing methods.

We don't recommend manually measuring your feet to work out sizing, as in our experience most people measure incorrectly without the use of a proper tool such as a brannock device.

When you give authority to leave, you are allowing our carriers to leave the package unattended at your address without a signature. Please note if you opt to leave your order unattended, Bprimal will not be responsible for any lost or stolen packages.

You can elect to have your package delivered with a signature on delivery for an additional $2 fee.

Express Shipping is also available from AU$19.95 (2-4 business days)

International Shipping is available to New Zealand from AU$19.95

All orders placed prior to Midday (AEST) will be dispatched the same day (business days Mon-Fri) with the exception of Sale Periods where we may experience up to 3 day delay for dispatch.

PICK UP IN STORE

We now offer a pickup option from our stores in Neutral Bay, NSW & Northcote, VIC (ONLY for items in stock at the store). *Please note, you cannot order items for pick up and online delivery in the same order - you must select either the 'Pick Up' or 'Ship' delivery option at checkout.

If you selected Pick Up at checkout, you will receive an email notification when your order is ready for collection (usually within 24 hours). Pick up is available during store hours.

RETURNS

If your order isn’t right for you, you can return it for a refund* or exchange within 60 days of receiving your order. I love the concept, style and look of the Freet Howgill. They feel amazing. I have a minor problem with one the inner sole's slipping out while I'm running. Will probably just glue it in. Otherwise they're just what I need.

first pair of barefoot shoes, ended up getting a small cut in the side of the shoe but thats likely due to me climbing a tree, they have a thin plastic membrane between the fabric layers which makes your feet quite hot and doesnt really let them breathe in humid hot environments like QLD Australia, i should of read the details alittle more before i bought them, they are quite comfortable for being a half size larger then what i normally wear and i do definitely think they are a really decent shoe.

These are my first experience of flexible soles and light-as-air uppers and I wish I’d discovered them years ago. It almost feels like they’re not there, but my feet are still protected from small sharp things. As an older person it does need a bit of manoeuvring and pulling to get the soft cuff up out from under my heel and up onto the ankle when I’m putting them on, but it’s worth the few extra seconds. For me they’re not a quick slip on, slip off at someone’s house, so I’m looking for a small hook to use in the heel loop to make it easier.

Good product. However, must wear with socks - inner soles are perforated, which makes them highly uncomfortable with bare feet.

I did want the Howgill khaki but none in my size, so bought the black. Actually to my surprise the black looked good! Put them on and fitted like a glove. Like socks with serious tread. Wore them the whole day and just so comfy. Feeling confident that I’m keeping these, went for a hike up the hill, no socks.
Great on loose gravel, etc, great grip.

When is Bprimal getting the Swale, as similar to Howgill but more breathable

As far as barefoot shoes go, I'm definitely getting a barefoot experience. Super flexible, can feel the ground, wide toe box. However, I'm finding them super hot, even with the insoles out. This is causing sweating and odour issues. Without the insoles, I find the internal sole slippery against socks (several different pairs). I also don't find them super easy to put on. I'm going to keep them for a winter shoe when it's cold and my toes are constantly numb and hope that that balances out the lack of breathability in the knit.

Quality: Terrible

Look before wearing

I needed a work boot and chose Lems as I love my other lems.
They are true to size, comfy first time wear, traction has been good yet still to put them into full on work.
They are flexible and supportive.

Anyone buying these, before putting them on or wearing them outside.
Remove the shoelaces and check the tongue.
The tactical Pro talls I bought have material rips just above eyelets between number 1 and 2 hooks. These rips are on both sides of the tongue on left and right boots. These are new boots yet to be put to work.
For the cost of these boots I would really expect quality manufacturing.
This is going to shorten the life of the boot.

A great shoe. My 2nd pair. They are great for everyday. Comfortable, look great with everything. My feet cry out in discomfort when I wear anything else but barefoot shoes.

Fantastic

Just awesome, they barely need breaking in and are so so comfortable. Probably the most expensive shoes I now own but also zero buyers remorse. They also look good enough to wear around town.
