Shamma - Super Browns - Cowhide Leather (Unisex)

I absolutely love my Super Browns! I bought them just before a caravan trip around Australia and they were definitely my favourite shoes! They took very minimal time to get used to/get the adjustments just right, but Shamma have videos on how to do this, so it wasn't a problem.
On our trip I wore them EVERYWHERE!! - including out to dinner and even hiking! And I often got comments about how nice they look.
Be aware, they do get very slippery on certain surfaces, but that's ok - that's the best time to walk barefoot and then pop them back on again later :)
The only real problem I have, is now I am back home in Victoria, so they're sitting in my cuboard waiting, watching, until the sun comes out again and then - YAYYY!!! (I can't wait to wear them again!!)

These Sandals are fantastic. It's no surprise coming from a long term user of Shamma footwear. The first couple of days they needed to be broken in but after than they are extremely comfortable and look great.

Tried bedrocks, monk and other sandals , these fit well, stay secure and the leather sole is really comfortable. The. Super browns adventure model might be a good idea. I like the feel of leather straps and sole.

I absolutely LOVE these sandals. Fabulous width so my toes don’t fall off the edges. Very comfortable and the quality is great. My longest foot is 25.8cm long and 10cm wide. I ordered size M8 / W9.5 and they’re the perfect size for me.

Nice and light, flexible sole, comfy between the toes (no rubbing).

Wow, I absolutely love these sandals. The super browns are the best minimalist shoe experience I have ever had. The leather is comfortable, and makes them easy to wear for long periods of time. I recommend these sandals.

Shamma has been great and the sandals are amazing. I’ve worn Xero, Bedrock, Luna, etc. and these Shamma sandals are hands down the most comfortable. I can’t wait to get my hands (feet) on another pair!

best shoes you’ll ever own. These are my hiking shoes, river shoes, forget to take them off in the house because you forget you’re wearing them shoes. Like being barefoot except hot rocks and pokey sticks can’t get you.

How I wish i discovered your sandals 25 years ago. Your shoes are great for building healthy strong feet, and I WANT to wear them bc feels good.

These sandals are amazing. This is my second pair - I wore the first pair almost exclusively in spring/summer for two years. I wear them on my daily walks. I wear them as I work long hours in a demo garden. I wear them quite literally everywhere. It’s like being barefoot, but better. If it weren’t for winter being too cold, I’d wear them all year long. Best. Shoes. Ever.

I waited until I've worn these for a while to write a review—I just got back from a 2-week trip in Europe and only wore these shoes. I walked over 120 kms in 3 cities, and I wore them before my trip and after. I have not gotten 1 blister, sore, or felt uncomfortable wearing these even on day 1 when I tried them on. These are magical shoes. I need to find a non-sandal version of these for the winter months. These are just incredible. I'll buy another pair when these eventually wear out. I cleaned them every day with a wipe to keep them fresh but other than that they still look great. Amazing shoe, great quality.

Shamma is hands down one of the best sandal manufacturers out there. Their products are high quality, comfortable, and durable. I have used these all summer and my feet couldn’t be happier. High fives all around.

The leather on these sandals is high quality. It is very smooth and comfortable. I followed the video to get the fit correct, and it only took a few minutes of wearing and a minor adjustment to get them perfect. The material quality and workmanship are amazing on these sandals. The footbed is very flexible and in just a couple days of wearing is already conforming to my feet. It doesn't seem like anything is going to be breaking down for a long time, but like most good leather products, these will probably become even more comfortable with use.

I also appreciate that the leather straps loop through the footbed, rather than the hard rubber plugs that are used in other models. It took me quite a bit of work to get my Chargers to fit where I couldn't feel those plugs, but these Super Browns were amazing from the moment I first put them on!

Keeps my feet cool temp wise but I tend to trip in them and my feet get stepped on. Can’t say they are comfortable.

Definitely The best sandals I ever used, so comfortable and ready for adventure.

Initially the buckle caused me excruciating pain. I thought for sure I would return them. I wanted to love them, though, so I persisted in moving that gosh darn buckle around until I finally found the perfect spot for my own foot (much closer to my ankle than I had originally anticipated)

Now they are like a second skin. Cheers to warmer weather so they never have to leave my feet.

I've been wearing Shammas for several years now. Except for the occasional shoe I wear them everyday, spring until fall.

This spring I ordered the all leather for the cool style and the don't disappoint. Great color, look and feel.

Shammas are my number one footwear choice! I’m on my second pair of Super Browns and they’re the best! They’re comfortable, looks great, and stay in place during all sorts of activities!

I didn't think I could find a barefoot sandal that I could love, but this is it. I've found it. 5 minutes to adjust the pair and it's perfect. Fit, comfort, looks great. I've got a pair of Chargers and Cruzers, those are great - but the Super Brown is King - it's pricier but worth every penny.

My Super Browns, with Super Power Straps, are simply 'awesome sandals'! They are just as described and photographed on the Shamma website. My size 9 sandals, with Shamma size small Super Power Straps, fit my feet perfectly, feel wonderful on my feet, and look so cool. If you are thinking of buying don't think too much about it: Super Browns are amazing sandals!

These are the first barefoot sandals I’ve ever purchased, and it was a great purchase! Love the minimalist style. They fit well and are comfortable!

The leather footbed is the most comfortable out of all my shoes. The sole has good traction even walking in wet conditions (wouldn’t recommend getting leather wet if you can help it though!). I do find the heel strap has to be just so on me, otherwise it either slips down a little or is too tight. Also, I’m incredibly picky but I would prefer the toe post to be slightly higher - I wouldn’t run in these because even though there’s only 4mm difference between my foot and the shoe, it’s all at the top of the sandal above my toes (because the toe post is too low for me) and I’ve tripped over the top a couple of times and scuffed them. Anyway, it’s a 4.9 out of 5 for me 😄 I love the look and feel of them. I really want to try a pair of the trailstars now!

I really like these Shammas since they are made with genuine leather. I did not want toxic synthetic materials touching my skin. There is only a minimal amount of nylon which touches the skin, which is the strap that goes between your big toe and your second toe. To improve this design, I'd like to see a Shamma sandal with zero nylon (using leather for a strap between my toes). Perhaps Shamma could source more "green" rubber as well. I don't think they use recycled or natural rubber for these. I'd also like to see more of a barefoot sandal. These sandals have a 7mm thickness, which thicker than I would want for minimalist sandals. For anyone wondering how practical it is to run in these, I have had no issues with them. I would not run in them in the rain, though, as I have had my feet slip when running with these while wet (although I was not using the Power Straps at that time, those should help with slipping). Lastly, I suppose the Velcro straps could be longer, as it is hard to make these really tight on my feet, but again, this may be able to be abetted by using Power Straps.
