We offer Standard and Express Shipping options

Our standard shipping rate starts from $9.95, Australia Wide with Authority to leave. 

When you give authority to leave, you are allowing our carriers to leave the package unattended at your address without a signature. Please note if you opt to leave your order unattended, Bprimal will not be responsible for any lost or stolen packages.

You can elect to have your package delivered with a signature on delivery for an additional $2 fee.

Express Shipping is also available from AU$16.95 (2-4 business days)

International Shipping is available to New Zealand from AU$19.95

All orders placed prior to Midday (AEST) will be dispatched the same day (business days Mon-Fri) with the exception of Sale Periods where we may experience up to 3 day delay for dispatch. 

You will receive a tracking number and link to track your delivery once it has been dispatched.

RETURNS

If your order isn’t right for you, you can return it for a refund* or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order. Item must be unworn and in BRAND NEW condition in original box with tags still attached (if applicable). Please note that postage costs to return the item(s) to bprimal remain the customers responsibility with the exception of customers that have purchased our Free Return Guarantee.

Shipping is free for a size exchange (one exchange per order) where we cover the postage to you for the exchange pair. 

REFUND

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from bprimal you can return your purchase to us for a full refund minus any postage costs. *Please note that if you have already exchanged your order, you will only be eligible for a store credit if you return the exchange item.
Care Guide

 If your Shapen barefoot shoes are made of smooth leather you should wipe them with a damp cloth and apply an adequate shoe care product once they dry up. We recommend balms or bee wax. It protects the shoes from cracking, keeps the material surface compact thus preserving the original leather qualities. 

If your Shapen barefoot shoes are made of nubuck or velour (suede) avoid wet cleaning and rub them dry with special suede velours gum cleaners or brushes. Taking care of nubuck or suede shoes is a little more challenging and therefore the special shoe care products renovating the footwear and restoring its colours must be used.

Why choose barefoot shoes?

They let your feet move the way nature intended, with a flexible base and plenty of room for the toes to spread out. Barefoot shoes have zero drop, meaning there is no height difference between the heel and the toe. This helps to strengthen your feet by engaging a wider range of muscles than traditional shoes. The result? Stronger foot muscles, better balance, and that “finally found the right shoes” feeling.
How do I choose the right size?

The size chart shows the inner length and width of each shoe model. Your toes should always have space to move freely: we typically recommend adding approx 12mm of leeway in front of your toes (no less than 6mm and no more than 18mm). Refer to our comprehensive Find your Perfect Fit page for guidance on exactly how to measure your feet and choose the right size.

  • Winter models: Add a little more space if you’ll be wearing thick socks.
  • Summer sandals: You can go for less space, thanks to the open toe box.
  • Ballerinas: max 0.7 cm is recommended, however it is largely subjective.

How do I know if my shoes fit?

Fit comes down to personal preference — some like it snug, others like a little extra room to roam. When you receive your shoes, spend some time wearing them indoors to get used to them and decide whether they are right for you. Your toes should feel completely unrestricted.
I’m between two sizes. Which should I pick?

If you’re in-between, we suggest choosing the larger size. Too much extra space can be adjusted with an insole, but cramped toes won’t be happy.
Will my shoes loosen as I wear them?

Leather Shapens will naturally soften and loosen a little over time, giving you that perfect fit.
What if I’m not used to walking barefoot?

That’s exactly why barefoot shoes exist. They wake up the muscles and nerves that regular shoes leave idle. You can start with 30 minutes a day, then gradually build up. It’s like hitting the reset button for your posture, balance, and connection to the ground beneath you.
How should I take care of my Shapen shoes?

Caring for your shoes keeps them strong and supports their natural flow:

  • Smooth leather: Wipe with a damp cloth, let dry, and apply a suitable product when dry to prevent cracking (e.g. treat a balm or beeswax).
  • Nubuck or suede: Never clean them wet. Instead, use a dry sponge or brush and treat with specialised products to refresh colour and texture.
How can I extend the lifespan of my Shapens?

A little love goes a long way. Follow these tips:

  1. Use a shoehorn, especially with closed-heel shoes.
  2. Always untie before slipping them off.
  3. Secure your foot properly with laces or straps.
  4. Change footwear frequently, especially in wet weather
  5. Let them dry and air out thoroughly after each use.
  6. Treat them with care products before the first wear.
  7. Avoid getting your shoes wet.
My foot slips in stockings. What can I do?

This is common across all shoes. For a more secure feel, choose styles with straps like ballet flats or sandals.
