Great fit, very comfortable and perfect for my gym activities
Nimbletoes are better than lem's Primal and xeroshoes.
I've had Lems Primal2, Xeroshoes Speedforce, Prio, HFS, Alston. These are easily the best. I went with my usual shoes size as opposed to what the app recommended because I have wide, well developed forefoot. This was definately the right choice. Major differences: • The heel doesn't pull on my heel, instead the heel movement is individual to the rest of the shoe. This may not sound like much but the other shoes caused me a little achillies pain after continues of use and the fabric would wear out back there because when the heel lifts, they tend to lift the entire sole. If you pull the heel on the shoes you'll notice just the fabric at the back lifts, where as most other shoes, the entire soles lifts with it (which is a lot of pressure on the achillies) It also means the shoes conforms to your foot a lot more during lateral movement • The lacing system suited my foot, I didn't need to play around with it to get it to fit right. During runs my toes don't at all hit the materal as my foot moves within the shoes which was a problem I have with the xeroshoes. I use 2 different lacing styles (shoe tongue between top and second threating and shoe tongue under the lace knot depending on how thick my socks are. • Super breathable. prevents ouders, I also kept the cardboard shoes trees it came with to also help with that.
Great everyday shoe
Very comfy everyday shoe. The deep black colour and style match with a variety of different outfits (work, casual, exercise) had to get a half size down from my normal size though. Wouldn’t where in wet weather though...
Good fit, lightweight, poor lacing system and heel security.
Fit was true to size, they were light and breathable. Unfortunately, the lacing system secures the forefoot well but doesn't provide lock down in the rear with the sliding of my heel. I wouldn't feel confident in running in them.
Great build quality
These were a slow burn for me. The highest lacing point is still very low on the foot so they felt very insecure on my feet. I didn't have any heel slip though, and after breaking them in and getting used to them they are my new favourites. They replace the Primal2 for me, with far better materials and build quality, and a better sole shape for my taste. They have stayed looking crisp without mesh holes or excessive sole wear. 12 month heavy wear review.
