I have suffered for many years from an ongoing corn after breaking my little toe and it’s hard to find comfortable shoes especially if your foot is wider, I saw these on Facebook and thought I would give them a try as they started they were wide fitting. This style is quite large . This is the 2nd pair I’ve tried. I’ve been going down half sizes. I will keep this pair as I think the next size down will be snug .

These shoes are the best! I had to go down a size, the swap was very easy. I love them. Comfortable, lightweight and very supportive….just what I was looking for in a summer shoe for walking.

Did the measure and was on the borderline of sizes so went for 42 should have gone for 41. Exchange was easy enough and very happy with the feel and look of the 41

The shoes are well made, quality material.
Size was slightly bigger, eventhough I used their own size guide and the cm measurement I usually have for my training shoes. I am wearing them and they are perfect for the gym and walking. However will try half a size smaller next time.

Great for travel. I know this sounds weird but I love how my leg muscles feel when I walk in these shoes.

Very comfortable with plenty of space around the toes

Can’t wear them because the sizing is not right even after 2 exchanges

They’re not as comfortable as I thought they’d be and the sizing was very hard to determine, had to exchange twice and they’re still a bit big at the heal. Quality of the shoe is great as was the customer service.

The fit is as I hoped as I need a wide shoe due to neuromas. I hoped for a thicker sole as I need the padding but can insert one. I've only worn them twice due to change in seasons but hope to use them more in my holiday in the tropics next week.

Was unsure about ordering online so I asked for advice and the information was helpful and the shoes fit really well. They are as comfortable as other natural type shoes but look neater and smarter and versatile. In my 70s and not especially sporty yet do need to keep moving and these are great encouragement. I like the light weight flexible materials. Occasionally I wear a minimal orthotic instead of the lining with no problem.

I was unsure of what size to get and got good advice. Love the shoes. Very comfy!

The only shoes I wear now

I have three pairs of Joe Nimble, Nimble Toes shoes - I started with the white (great with summer dresses), then the black (for work - still count as 'closed in' shoes), then the blue (just because I love the colour - and they are great with jeans). I've tried several other brands of barefoot shoes, but all have their downsides (too tight, too heavy, too thin sole). These are the only shoes I wear now. They have plenty of room in the toe box, but don't feel loose. They are nice and snug around the laces, without being too tight. They are light-weight and flexible. They are comfortable from the first wear. My feet don't get too hot in them, and I don't need to wear socks on a hot day as they don't smell. They're warm enough for the winter (with socks). They're not waterproof, but they dry quite quickly (and I purchased some 'over shoes' from eBay for a couple of dollars that go over them easily if it's really wet underfoot). I absolutely love them and am so happy to have finally found shoes that are comfortable, don't 'damage' my feet, and look good. I have very wide, but shallow feet so finding shoes that don't cramp the toe box, but also aren't too deep has always been a challenge. The result of wearing shoes that are too tight in the toe box (and too high in the heel) has been a bunion on each big toe and tailor's bunions forming on my little toes. More concerning, though, I have had a Morton's Neuroma on each foot that has required surgery. After less than a year of wearing the Nimble Toes (and almost nothing else) the bunions have started to correct themselves. Sadly, there's no way around the Morton's Neuroma other than surgery, but I'm confident that neither will come back - or form between my other toes - now that I'm in the right shoes. I've given these shoes a five star rating because they absolutely deserve it. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Beautifully crafted shoes. I can wear my correct toes in it. Looks cool. Love the fact the front is broken up by leather all around it making it look narrower than it actually is. It’s my first pair of wide toe boxed shoes so I am still getting used to walking in a more natural sole.

Joe Nimble shoes don’t need multiple width options because they’re designed on a natural, asymmetrical last. The shoes follow the real shape of the foot instead of squeezing it into a narrow, symmetrical mould.

Are Joe Nimble Women’s Shoes Narrower Than Those Men’s?

Not at the toes — toe freedom is non-negotiable for everyone. The only difference is at the heel, where women’s feet are naturally narrower. Otherwise, the principle of toefreedom® applies across all models.

How Long Do Joe Nimble Soles Last?

Sole durability depends on factors like running surface, shoe model, mileage, body weight, and running style. For example, trail soles are built for rugged off-road use, but will wear faster on asphalt.

Finish with a hoe deodorant for long-lasting shoe freshness, and a waterproofing spray for textile shoes

These are the best boots I have ever worn.
I've worn them most days in all conditions for the last 3 years and just bought more for a trip to Europe.

The best all round barefoot shoes

The best all round barefoot shoes. BPrimal recommend go 1/2 size up but for me the the 9.5 US were fine

I wear my Peak9+GTX for golf. Have never had wet feet, in Coffs Harbour that’s a good thing. Very comfortable shoes. Have just bought a second pair so I’m future proof.

Light and comfortable. Loving this boots, I was out all night but didn't have pain on my feet when I got home. My feet didn't feel too tired either. hopefully they are durable as well.

What I hate most about the Boulder Boot Grip WP is the lack of flex

These shoes are probably a 3 star to be fair, but I went with 2 because of the massive disappointment with where Lems have gone with the boulder boot. I freaking love the OG canvas brown boulder boot, I've worn them for years and they are still going, albeit the sole is worn down and not as comfy when I got them several years ago.

What I hate most about the Boulder Boot Grip WP is the lack of flex which makes it feel and perform like a regular boot. Yes, it has a wide toe box and zero drop but you don't get the ground feeling or flex that makes sure your feet do the work and they stay strong and healthy. They are quite heavy for a barefoot shoe too, I was really surprised and its very noticeable compared to the canvas model. Ankle support is way too much, another no no with barefoot shoes - the whole idea is for the foot and ankle to get flexible and strong, they can't with rigid soles and padding around the ankle. Not a fan of the speed hooks either.

They do seem well made, solid, durable and look good but they're not a barefoot shoe. This boot is perfect for people transitioning to barefoot shoes from normal shoes. They are a good first step to get familiar with the wide toe box and zero drop, but I definitely wouldn't recommend for seasoned barefoot shoe wearers. I'm really disappointed Lems are going this way with the boot, I'd love to see them bring back the canvas, a more flexible and lighter model.

The Boulder Boot Grip WP is designed to be a more rugged, weather-resistant option, so it does have a different feel underfoot compared with the lighter and more flexible original Boulder Boot. We appreciate that this won't suit everyone, particularly those who prefer maximum flexibility and ground feel.

Bargain vs vivobarefoot RA

Bargain vs vivobarefoot RA.

They are quite low volume, but I wouldn't necessarily size up, as they are going to stretch. But yes, first wear, they are half a size small.

Quality all seems perfect, greatly exceeds expectations for the price.

Toe box width is good, mid and heel is perfect, not too wide.

Vivobarefoot RA had way to much width in mid and heal, and has very thin sole, so this shoe is my new favourite casual/formal shoe, it solves both of those. You don't need paper thin soles on your formal casual shoes.

Durability is unknown, I will update.
