I am pretty cynical with new trends in footwear, I have always worn old style shoes, just because i believe if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it. I dismissed barefoot shoes as hype.
I went in to the store to try another pair of Lems shoes, the Outlanders, I liked their look and feel. While the attendant took them to the counter for me to buy, I walked past the Boulders. They looked ok, so I asked to try them on.
I haven’t taken them off for the last week. The Outlanders went back on the shelf. These Boulders are the best shoe I have worn for the purpose I have for them. Really comfortable, and waterproof. The zero drop sole makes a difference.
They are my travel shoes, for walking and catching planes to work, where unfortunately I have to wear work boots.
The difference in comfort is huge, I look forward to finishing my swing and putting on my Boulder’s again
If Lems made a work boot with steel/ composite cap, I would be all over that
I love that Shapen offer a long black leather boot. I’m usually an EU37 (with my longest foot being about 23.4cm. I bought the 37 in the Harper which I believe to be the right size. If I’d purchased from a physical shop I would have wanted to try the next size up as a comparison. The length is fine but the ankle and calf are quite snug. Ok over tights but a bit of a squeeze over skinny jeans - although doable. My calf circumference is 34cm.
Absolutely love my Lems!!
The wide toe box is amazing and they are super comfy. Just want I needed when I am on constantly on my feet 8 hours for work.
Highly recommend them
I have been into the barefoot shoes and torin 9 is a worthy addition to my collection. It feels better than torin 8 and the grip of the wet roads also seems improved.
I have been using lems primal since the very beginning. Whenever i read "more structured" i have a bad feeling. It was justified in this case. The rear to mid foot structure on the inside of the shoe makes them feel very different to the previous models. Already i can feel it pushing against pronation. I'll have to look again for a replacement brand
My son loving his new comfy shoes. Made with thought and style
I absolutely LOVE my new boots. They were so comfortable from the very first time I wore them…highly recommend these boots. Great nonslip soles in muddy and slippery conditions as well!
Very comfortable toe socks
I feel more comfortable wearing my new shoes.
I have a size 14 US foot and have also suffered from gout attacks since I was a teenager. I cant believe, for 30 years I crammed my feet into shoes too narrow, and too small overall due to a lack of options in size 14. The first time I tried on these boots, I knew that I had found the shoe I'd been looking for. Even when my toes are swollen like balloons, these shoes are still comfortable and provide enough room and actually help the pain by providing support and cushioning to the rest of my foot.
