I thought it was my big toe that needed space - and yes, it does, but the revelation with these shoes is how cramped my smaller toes were in other shoes, too. Feeling them being able to spread out is really something.
These shoes have a no-drop heel, and they aren’t super cushiony, but I stand up most of the day and my feet are still comfortable walking home. And they come in half sizes. What more can you ask for?

I'm not a barefoot traditionalist, I think the vibram sole is a pretty hard compound, and not much give anywhere else, firm base if that's what you are looking for.

I put these boots on and went straight out on a two hour hike.
They are very comfortable, the leather is soft, and have a good tread.
My go to shoe for workplace comfort. With a wide foot across the toes this shoe it the best. The leather looks great and will last a bit longer than the fabric ones I had previously
The new boots are great. I went two sizes up from my usual size as I have quite wide feet. Lems is not the perfect fit for my feet, Joe Nimble is much wider, for example, but after choosing a bigger size, they are comfortable and light. Just slightly long.
Not been worn as of yet, but will be this weekend.
