MOUNTAIN-TO-TOWN OUTSOLE
Engineered with a new, low profile, rubber tread that has the best of both worlds: ample traction on trails, AND excellent durability on pavement.
WIDE TOE BOX
We've re-designed the original Lems Last for a more active fit. This new sneaker features a foot-shaped toe box, paired with a slim heel fit.
RUGGED UPPER
The upper is made of durable materials that stand up to the abuses of trails, and also daily wear and tear.
LOW HEEL DROP
With 4mm of drop, compared to the traditional 12mm of drop, the Trailhead naturally decreases heel-striking for a more natural gait and healthier posture.
FIRM CUSHIONING
When your foot is on too soft of cushion, you end up with pain and discomfort. We've formulated a firm EVA midsole that'll keep your feet happy all day long.

Very disappointed
Unfortunately, I found the shoes very uncomfortable, hurt my feet and will not be wearing them again - 1 wear only! My podiatrist recommended bprimal, but I won't be buying another pair.

Lems - Trailhead V2- Sequoia
Lems Trailhead is a winner
I’ve had the Lems Trailhead Sequoia from Bprimal for about 8 months. They are my go to shoe for day to day wear. They aren’t as minimal as other shoes that I own and for me that is a good thing. A bit more sole is good for days where I’m mostly on pavement. I can walk all day in them no worries. I’ve also used them on a few day hikes up about 12km. They’re decently breathable and good for Melbourne autumn, winter and into spring. Once weather gets a bit warmer I switch to the Lems Mesa or sandals. My trailheads run true to my normal sneaker size. Bprimal’s been great to deal with.
Sturdy shoe
A really solid shoe. Could do with a slightly wider toe box near the little toe.
HEAVY DUTY HIKING SHOE WITH GLOSSY PAINT
I hike daily and have gone through my fair share of hiking shoes. What I like about Lems is that their functionality competes with the high-end brands but they’re able to present the shoe as a sneaker. I’ve had chronic plantar fasciitis for years, so when I pick shoes, I really have to research to make sure I don’t buy something that messes up my feet. It’s why I like Lems Primal shoes. It’s also why I love these. For people complaining about the footbed and 4mm drop, I recommend trying them before knocking them. I have super wide feet with chronic foot conditions and see a podiatrist regularly for them and I’ve never been told that these 4mm drop were going to mess my feet up in anyway. Give em a try if you are on the fence. I can’t stop wearing mine and already bought a second pair.
