SIZING & FIT GUIDE

Our Fit recommendation for this shoe based on customer feedback: Most people wear their normal size, but some people need to size up.

If you don't know your normal EU size, or would like to double check sizing for this model, please use the sizing tools we have provided here like this:

1. Print out our Printable Size Guide for this model and stand on it - making sure your printer is set to 100% Scale. Choose the size where your longest toe finishes. If you are on the line, consider if you will be wearing thick socks, or prefer to have less or more space in your shoes and choose accordingly.

2. Use our Strutfit online sizing app to check your feet measurement and it will tell you what size to order - Click on "WHAT IS MY SIZE?" above. You will need an a4 sheet of paper and a smartphone for this. Once you have done this once, it will also tell you what size you need for all the other shoes on our website as you browse through other models.

3. Use the sizing chart provided which shows the insole length and width of the shoe which you can use to compare the measurements against another pair of shoes that fit you well. Or you can compare them with a sizing chart from another brand and work out your size that way. This is not a fool-safe way though, as the volume and material in the upper of the shoe can also make a big difference to the fit so best to use this in conjunction with one of the other sizing methods.

We don't recommend manually measuring your feet to work out sizing, as in our experience most people measure incorrectly without the use of a proper tool such as a brannock device.

Very comfortable and they look great. I initially bought the freet citii and they didn't match my work wear, but these look good and feel great. The only problem I'm finding is they're hot. My feet don't usually feel hot in shoes but they are in a Sydney summer in these.

These are my go-to in the office shoes. They look smart. They're easy to clean with a microfibre cloth. Plus they're vegan. The only troubles I've had is that the area where the top meets the sole came apart early on (Bprimal kindly reimbursed me for getting it repaired). I also find they're not suitable for riding a bike to work as the seams aren't strong enough to hold the flexion of resting your foot down while on a bike. Nonetheless, I like them so much that when the pair I'd had for a couple years started to look a bit too worn out for the office, I decided to get another pair.

Really comfortable shoes. My feet are a lot happier.

🌱 Freet Footwear specific FAQ's

What Is A Barefoot Shoe?

A barefoot shoe is all about natural movement. Freet shoes are made to feel like you’re moving barefoot — while still giving you the protection you need. They are designed with:

  • A wide toe box so your toes can spread freely
  • Flat soles, with zero drop from heel to toe for natural posture
  • A fully flexible outsole that lets your feet bend and flow with every step

More information can be found here: freetbarefoot.com/barefoot-shoes

Do I need to transition to barefoot shoes?

Yes, switching to barefoot shoes can take some adjustment time if you’ve been wearing traditional shoes. If you’re looking to move more naturally and strengthen your feet, barefoot shoes are a great choice.

Start slow, your body may need a few days, weeks or even months to adapt — try short walks or light use first. If you feel some discomfort, ease off and build up gradually. Over time, your feet will grow stronger and the discomfort will fade.

How do I choose the right size?

The size chart for each Freet shows the inner length and width of each shoe model (EU shoe size). Your toes should always have space to move freely: we recommend adding approx 12mm of in front of your toes (no less than 6mm and no more than 18mm). Refer to our comprehensive Find your Perfect Fit page for guidance on exactly how to measure your feet and choose the right size.

Still not sure? Reach out to info@bprimal.com — the team is always happy to help.

How do I know if my shoes fit?

Fit comes down to personal preference — some like it snug, others like a little extra room to roam. When you receive your shoes, spend some time wearing them indoors to get used to them and decide whether they are right for you.

Freet shoes have a wide toebox to allow toes to move and spread naturally, no heel (zero drop) and a fully flexible outsole. If you’re used to traditional shoes, you might initially find Freets feel softer and less structured. That’s a good thing — your feet are simply discovering their freedom to spread, flex, and move the way nature intended. Your toes should feel completely unrestricted.

Which Outsole Should I Choose?

Freet currently have wide range of outsoles for different conditions. Their Technology page explains about each type of outsole in detail.

What if you are out of stock in my size?

If we are out of stock in your size and you are unable to preorder it on our website, please reach out to our team at info@bprimal.com. We are able to preorder Freet shoes, so we can help you place a preorder.

*Please note, dispatch for preorders is typically 3-4 weeks.

How do I clean my Freets?

If Freet shoes are dirty on the outside, you can wipe them with a damp cloth.

If you wish to wash out the inside, use lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Pour a little water into the shoes and using your finger, gently rub around to remove any dirt. Rinse with clean lukewarm water, empty out and dry away from direct heat. You could put some newspaper inside the shoes to speed up drying time.

What Products Should I Use To Care For My Freets?

Gentle, water based, products, such as those made by Nikwax are recommended for conditioning and waterproofing. See each product page for specific information for that particular style of shoe.

What Is There Is A Problem With My Shoes?

We always look to be reasonable and fair in resolving any problem you have with Freet products. Please email info@bprimal.com with your order number and photos.
