Best pair of casual shoes I’ve ever had. A big call but so happy with the fit and look.

Comfy right out of the box. I sized up after seeing other reviews and these just fit. Not tight at the toe when I walk but definitely no room to spare. But as I'm self conscious of my big feet I'd rather a 'just fit' than any extra room at the toe. A nice retro design look.

Bprimal has great customer service and Lems shoes are fantastic for zero drop, flexible and wide toebox.
They are well priced and look less "Ronald McDonald" than other brands!
Unfortunately these shoes are discontinued but I love them for hiking as my Primal 2 shoes have a thinner sole and gave me sore feet.
If Lems were still making these shoes I would ask them for better fabric in the lining as it wears down quickly around the heel.
These shoes have a mesh upper which is great on a warm day, not so great in puddles or the rain!

Very Happy. First outing was a 4 hour walk in which I totally forgot I was wearing new shoes. So light and flexible with toe freedom. I struggle go back into regular shoes. Thanks to the reviews and size guiding notes on the bprimal page, which was very helpful, I went up a size and a half. Brought for summer hiking in mind which these shoes suit well.

Lems Primal Pursuit are a great concept, but miss the mark. I own & enjoy Primal 2, Primal Zen, Boulder Boots Waterproof & Nine to Five being light weight, zero drop & WIDE. Unfortunately the Primal Pursuit are a much narrower last & were tight & uncomfortable - I returned them immediately.
@LEMS - please design a Trail sole for either the Primal 2 or Primal Zen, with the same wide & comfortable last.
FYI - I've now purchased ALTRA Lone Peak 7 WIDE which do the job perfectly.

Most comfortable fitting shoe for old school kiwi . Who grew up running around bare foot

Did purchase another pair of these shoes due to your not restocking them any more. There very comfy for my regular daily walks. ( A book of interest just borrowed from local library a must read for everyone - The Miracle Pill by Peter Walker ) should enspire most people to start moving ) As targets a sedentry world. :)

Really happy with these shoes for hiking, as they have better grip soles than the Primal 2. Only worn them 3 times so far, but very comfortable & light. I had to exchange the first size 10 pair I ordered, as too big. In the Primal 2 I take 8.5, but took the advice to size up. The size 9.5 is good for me.

There's something really weird about the sizing of this style. At first i bought a size 10, i'm usually a women's 9.5 AU or a 41 EU and your sizing system suggested i get a 9.5 but because this style says to size up, i went for a 10. They arrived in good time but were WAY small, toes squished at the end. So I contacted the shop, sent a pic of my feet on the inlay and they suggested i order an 11. I said are you sure? Not just another half size? And she said definitely go for an 11. Seems crazy to me, i've never ever been a 10, let alone an 11! So i ordered them, by the time they arrived i was so stoked to finally be able to wear my shoes and just took them out for a walk. They seemed a good size, maybe on the big side, they instantly felt comfortable all round, a very good shoe, nice bounce in the sole, not too much, a firm grounded sole but not to thin or too thick or too airy/bouncy. I love them. BUT the 11 is definitely a half size too long for me. My feet are slipping front to back, or theres too much extra toe length.
So now i'm stuck with a too big shoe and they are wearable but i really want them to be the right length so i can run without extra toe length catching when i lift my feet. Its a bit disappointing. Might try to sell them to a friend and get myself a 10.5.

I'm usually a size 41/42 or an AU womens 9.5
These are a women's size 10 and they are really way too small. My toes and pushed right up against the end with no room to move or spread at all. I will need to return them. I'd say the sizing on this shoe is WAY off, but it does look like a really nice quality shoe. Just disappointed I'll have to wait so long to return them and then get a new pair. I was hoping to have them to use in a couple of weeks time.

Just love my Lems. Exactly as advertised and super quick delivery. These shoes are like wearing slippers, only more comfy and robust! Although I’m usually a 7.5 female shoe size, having had a previous pair of this exact same shoe I knew I needed half a size larger (size 8) for a perfect fit. Thanks for stocking these shoes in Australia and for the great service, couldn’t be happier:)

I bought these Ali s for thr broader toe area. I love that I can wiggle my toes.it’s an experience that I don’t ever remember in my life being able to do. I recently had a problem with my foot and I received the shoes the day befor I was to see the doctor, which helped as I was able to wear these Lems , I thought Iwas going to have to go barefoot due to the pain in my foot but because of the space in the shoe I was able to. I thought the size wasn’t going to fit. But it fitted perfectly. I have been walking with them and enjoying the ability to move my toes and put the weight on them with no pain. I don’t know if these will correct any deformity in my feet as I haven’t had them for long but I am surprised how spacious and bing ab.e to have a broad weight placed more evenly over the toe area. Very happy with my purchase and its timely delivery. Recommend anyone to try them.

Fit was perfect. I chose one size up. They are super comfy to wear from day one. Love the new sole grip pattern too.

Excellent, haven’t been excited to go running until now. So good to get back with these.
Few issues / delays shipping, with warehouse changeover.

A great pair of walking shoes looking forward to my regular walking routine. Due weather, flu bugs , etc. cant wait. But have tried them a couple of times & found very comfortable. Happy to recommend them as to the store bought which cost even more these will be my walking shoe from now on. Esther

I had, well still have the previous version of these with the 4mm drop. They are still going, but these new ones are great.

this shoe is very well built, offers very good protection on walks (in National parks), I wear them with the insert as they are slightly tighter fit than the my other Lems. Look and sturdy, should last a decent amount I time. I am a big fan

I bought these in the same size as the lems primal 2 and while the primal 2 are a perfect fit, these are a touch small.
However, I've done a hike with them and they do provide good grip and support.

I really like these Primal Pursuit shoes. They look great and fit just as the printout shoe size guide says.

Fantastic when hiking. Light weight more natural feel than boots and good protection.

They are awesome.

This is a solid built shoe, and with it it comes a bit more stiffness. Overall the fit is marginally narrower then the Primal 2 (better without the insole), and significantly more rigid and weighty. The heel cup is a bit stiff and high, so it does take some breaking in, but it offers excellent grip on gravel and good looks. A good shoe for what is intended - although I would love to see Lems producing a Primal 2 with an all terrain sole!

Even in a wide new balance sneaker I found my metatarsal bones were getting pushed together. I love love love my Freet Citee but my feet fatigue after walking on concrete. The Lens Primal Pursuit give me the width and padding I need to walk on the footpath for kms.

Just went for my first walk in these and they rock! won't need any other shoes now. Next pair will be for work.
Top quality, and the service from BPrimal was excellent.
