I really like my Freet Citees! As I use them in a clinical environment, they need to look smart and be wipe clean. I can confirm that they are wipe clean. I use antibacterial wipes on them and they are not ruined. They are also appear to be good quality as they look as good as new after two months of regular use. Therefore, if you are thinking about buying a pair of Freet shoes, it may be of use to consider these three things. I find the shoes to be pretty comfortable due to the wide toe box. The material that the shoes are made from seems durable and is vegan. Some of my friends have purchased these shoes following my recommendation.
My Freet Citees were the first barefoot shoes I’ve ever purchased and I love them! They are super lightweight and comfortable and I’ve been amazed how I can indeed feel the ground beneath my feet while at the same time somehow feeling that my feet are cushioned. I have peripheral neuropathy due to Coeliac disease, which makes my feet feel numb while at the same time very sensitive which was what had powered my search for flexible, very smooth on the inside, shoes. These shoes are totally comfortable and don’t irritate my feet at all. Earlier this year I worked on the Census for 7 weeks, which involved walking the pavements for 4 hours a day knocking on people’s doors and I was amazed that my feet held up so well and didn’t suffer despite so many hours walking on hard surfaces thanks to my Citees. The Citees also look quite smart and still look new despite considerable daily use. I heartily recommend them. On the sizing front, I bought 38’s which are my normal size.
Great fit (after very helpful customer service in finding the correct size). The shoes come up quite high on the foot so occasionally they rub around the ankle. But I've only worn them a couple times, I suspect this will subside once they are a bit worn in.
