This is my second pair of Freet Flex. They are so comfortable and light and have fast become my "go to" shoe. The quality far is superior to a more expensive brand I used to buy.

Shoe is well made and pretty good. Purchased from Bprimal and excellent to deal with.
Shoe is runs big. I have a low volume foot. Perhaps because of that, not sure. But when you wear it with thick socks and insoles that comes with it problem fixed.
Josh G.
Its ok but not recommended for skating, running, hiking because my shoes have holes in them after no time at all.

I purchased a pair of these shoes a while ago now. Out of the box they seem great quality and sturdy. I was excited to wear the as it was my first experience with barefoot shoes. However. On the first day wearing them all the seems split and the sole started to come away from the upper. This was not due to any strenuous activity or wear. It was from a normal day of wearing. I tried to repairand wear them the rest of that week to no avail. Be wary of the quality. I'm sure this does not reflect the company as a whole and I am sure I just got a bad pair of shoes. Bprimal was excellent and had speedy shipping.

Really happy with how these fit. Only a couple weeks into use. Hoping they last a year like my last pair.
Amanda E.
The Freet brand have maintained the spacious toe box which other reputable brands have started to shrink, possibly just for aesthetics. These Freets fit my slim foot really well without needing to tighten the laces to their limit. The fabric is recycled plastic and I only hope it lasts well.

This was my first experience of wearing barefoot shoes and I'm totally sold! Love the fit and ease with which my whole foot fits without being rubbed anywhere. I'd highly recommend this shoe and the superb customer service at BPrimal.
Andrew
excellent alternative to my Freet Pace & Lems primal 2s & Zens. Sizing a little tricky with EU45 slightly too short & EU46 too long, hopefully will stretch over time

Super comfortable!

I have run in these for the last few weeks. I love them. I run in sandals during the summer and as it cools down, I wear toe socks with them but usually wear runners in the really cold weather. Now I will give these a try.

I was delighted to find shoes that allowed space for my toes to flex and and the whole foot to function properly.
I am 82 years old and had been a middle distance runner (in bare feet long ago) and it is great to feel the ground and move across it with intent.

Use them extensively in cardio group gym classes and running- brilliant

I know it says these can run small, but I bought my regular size for my wide, slightlybunioned feet. Just fusing for walking (because that's the speed I move at) and work. I really like them - lots of room, beautifully flexible. 1 star less just because my ideal would have greater breathability.

Extremely comfortable true to size. Purchased the free return shipping guarantee for a slight supplement. Didn’t need as the shoes were true to size.
Amanda
My first pair of bare-foot shoes after years of wearing the wrong shoes for my feet, which are very wide - consequently developed hammer toe and felt very awkward walking without shoes. Until I bought these shoes from Freet! I have worn them 5 days a week for an entire year now, in a job where I am constantly walking and on my feet. Talk about life-changing. These shoes have been legendary, they have withstood plenty of wear and tear and my feet feel so much stronger now when I do go barefoot. I can walk more comfortably and my posture feels better. Previous hip discomfort has disappeared. I feel more grounded.. so glad I found these shoes, will be buying some Freet Tundra boots next

These shoes are comfortable, however, I have been wearing them for work and going to the gym for around three months now and i do not know if they will stand the test of time. The side overlay has come off in a few spots which have been glued back on and the mesh is wearing out. At this price point, I would have expected a longer wearing shoe. Positives would be, they fit well and have a great sole.

These are hands down my fave. Grip is awesome. My first pair of barefoot shoes - comfy as straight up - love the ground feel and minimal aesthetic. Crave wearing them. Will be looking into more kicks from Freet.
Jane
Perfect fit, allows for feet to be free during gym class. Especially lifting weights

I find the Freet flex a very comfortable shoe for my very wide feet. They are my second pair of Freet brand shoes and I am very happy. Am loving the wide fit and my hips are loving the zero drop. Delivery was timely too thank you.

I love this shoe. So very comfortable straight out of the box. Extremely light to wear with a lovely wide toe box and snug fitting heel. This is currently my favourite barefoot shoe and I'll definitely be buying more of this brand.

good minimalist shoe. Simple understated designed yet functional. Better protective structure for wear and activities around the toe box than my Lems Primal 2, but not as breathable. Very comfortable shoe.

Great, just that inside of R shoe sole was not properly glued onto rest of shoe.

I have 3 Primal 2 and have now got the Freet Flex. Gaelle was very helpful on sizing as I thought 43 might be a bit small and maybe 44 a bit big. 43 was advised and I could also apply 43 to the Pace and Feldom. The size 43 turned out to be spot on. Overall they are quite similar to Lems Primal 2 but different enough be the perfect alternative to the Primal 2. I have always liked to give a shoe a couple of days rest and also wear different brands/type on alternate days. The combination of Primal2 and Freet will be perfect for me.
If you like to wear shoes barefoot and without the insole the Freet Pace (However I think Pace and Feldom are same as Flex in this regard) are the way to go as they don't have all the stitching exposed when the insole is removed. The Flex has a 4 mm sole with insole removed and Primal 2 is 9mm. I can't say I have noticed much difference in wearing the shoes but this will probably change with time.
Like Primal 2 the Flex will easily handle wide feet. In Brooks Ghost 14 and New Balance 880 V11 I am 4E width. I have tried most of the barefoot shoes and I think Primal 2 and Freet Flex are the pick and with the bonus of having an excellent place to buy them. I settled on Brooks and New Balance many years ago and looked any further. I would say for me I do not need to look further than Primal 2 and Freet when i comes to barefoot shoes.

Perfect for my son's school shoes

Got these shoes to wear to work and they are fabulous. They’re comfortable and I haven’t experienced any end of day foot pain like I used to with my old shoes. Highly recommend

I bought these to replace my 13 year old son's old ones as he had grown out of them. They are his favourite ever shoes, from a kid who has never liked shoes. They suit a wide, high volume foot. Very flexible, thin sole, lots of ground feel.
Only down side is that the sole was completely trashed after a little over a year on the last pair. Big chunks tearing off the forefoot. Could be that my son plays hard, but he doesn't go to school so doesn't wear shoes much anyway. I'm hoping for more longevity in these ones.

I got these shoes for work because I’m mostly barefoot at home and work was where i was on my feet all day in the wrong shoes. I have zero regrets, these shoes are comfortable and easy to wear. I’ve had no foot pain after standing most of the day! Highly recommended.

Really comfortable and great grip.

Had to wear bandaids on my heels for the first few days to break them in. After that no issues fit well, aesthetically pleasing shoe style as barefoot and wide toe box

Really great shoes. I bought these to protect against that enemy of the Australian summer ...bindis. bastards. Well, these do the job. Not as good as barefoot but I've found these to be the best alternative when required. Great for walking and short runs and work outs. Love them. I recommend them

Love ’em! I’ve got nothing but praise for my new Freets. They’re comfortable, flexible and have made a huge difference to my mobility. I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and the Freets have been a key contributor to alleviating the symptoms of this painful condition.

The shoe fits like a second skin, protecting my feet from sharp objects while allowing me to feel the ground I'm walking on. Super comfortable and flexible.

Love these shoes. Like barefoot but better. Wore them as a walking/walking around shoe for just over a year and noticed the heels were wearing down due to my stride so bought another pair. The laces on the new ones stay tied up better. They are brilliantly comfortable.

The first time i wore them was for a 10 hour shift at work... I'm on my feet all day at work.
I found them to be great :) No toe cramps and nice and flat.
Love having shoes that are actually the right shape!

I am impressed by the quality of this freet flex shoe. It's very comfortable and can be worn every day both inside and out. Getting used to the barefooted shoes is a little hard in starting but slowly it becomes normal. Sore calf muscles are part of training the legs to barefoot experience. I don't think that I will buy any shoes other than barefoot, zero-drop shoes. Freet flex is highly recommended. bprimal was quick to deliver and kept me up to date with the delivery of new shoes.

I have been wearing FeiYue almost exclusively for movement training and everyday use for nearly 20 years. I had a coaching session with famed strength and conditioning coach Steve Maxewll and he recommended Freet.
I bought a pair and have found them excellent. Wide toe displacement makes for a healthier and better experience. And they look really interesting. Not beautiful, but interesting.
The sole is super grippy like a car tyre, and all round these are great shoes, Highly recommended.

I tried them at home first, good for dancing and yoga in my lockdown loungeroom. Very comfortable generally because of the wide toe box, but sadly my long second toe due to bunion still not catered for.
Then I thought I was ready to work in them, average 10km per 12 hour shift in busy ED. I got half way through the day, but my feet were longing for more support, arch and heels especially.

Exactly what I was hoping to buy. Lightweight, comfortable shoes that let me feel free to move. I spent my first day in them playfully running around and jumping about on rocks. Also used them while working at a cafe and they were fantastically comfortable all day - to the point of me remarking to myself halfway through the shift how fantastic they were haha. Though I'm not all that trusting of their grip on a slightly greasy, commercial kitchen floor (but how many shoe grips can you trust on that surface anyway?)
The shoe is also a style chameleon, at first glance they're just unremarkable black shoes, so like most black shoes will work well in many environments with many outfits without drawing attention - ideal for my use at the moment.
Using the size guide and measuring my feet has given a great fit without the insert (my preference). I have absolutely no complaints yet for these shoes, and Bprimal's customer service was brilliant in helping me decide between Freet's different models.
My only wish is that barefoot shoes as a whole were a little less expensive, however Freet's Flex are on the more affordable end when compared to other shoes in the market.

These shoes were my first purchase from Bprimal. I was searching for eco friendly shoes that support my feet and overall posture. These shoes are super comfortable! I can walk, run and work in these shoes for long periods without my feet feeling restricted or hot like they do in other shoes. I think I may have purchased a size too big but in a way it was a blessing in disguise as I'm using these shoes for workouts and have recently purchased another pair from here for work. The extra room actually feels fine and very comfortable for me. I am very impressed with how quickly they came to me. I will be a regular customer from now on :)
Thank you!

These Freet Flex shoes are terrific - I’ve had them for a month and love them. Based on the size chart, I bought my usual size and they fit my wide forefoot/average volume/regular arch/slim heeled feet well.
I’ve been trialling these shoes every day during Lockdown V2 and am now walking the streets in them daily. The Freet Flex sole has a nice amount of shock absorption, they’re grippy, flexible, have good feedback, are spacious at the toe box and can be secured well over the instep. I wear a hidden sock and the shoes do not feet hot or sweaty. These are not my first minimalist shoes, but they’re by the far the best, they even look good on and the quality is great, too. Very happy with these!
Khatijah
Love these shoes, seem really well made, light and flexible. Bought them for my 11 year old son who has wide, high volume feet. Measured his feet and used the sizing chart on the Freet site, erred on the side of a bit too big so he can hopefully fit them for the next year, so they are still on the roomy side.
Natalie
Very, very happy with my Freet Flex. Incredibly wide for my very wide feet. Very comfortable. Would happily buy Freet again!

Excellent shoes

I’ve been testing the Freet Flex for a good month around the concrete city. I required a shoe that can deal with the wear and tear that being active on concrete creates. What I immediately loved about the shoe was the extra bit of vertical space for my toes (space to lift up your toes). The sole shape is fantastic and allows my toes to move where they want to. I’ve been wearing minimalist shoes for around four years so have widely splayed toes but my mid foot and ankle are fairly narrow. The Flex are very adjustable and provide the option to fit them snugly to my feet. The sole hasn’t any signs of wear, which is music to my feet and bank balance. The soles aren’t as flexible as the ones on the Connect 2 shoes, but it’s worth it for the longevity you get if you’re using them consistently in an urban environment. I’ve been wearing them without the insole and have no issues with my feet slipping. They are a joy to wear. The only small change I would make is to have thicker laces.

I recently bought my first pair of barefoot shoes (your freet flex)
THERE FANTASTIC! I walked all around London sightseeing (approx 9kms) a raining day up and down steps etc.. there super grippy all almost ALL surfaces Brilliant! Gives you great feedback and confidence also my feet stayed dry! I ended my day with a feeling of my feet fresh as the start of my day, my calf muscles ache nicely telling me my legs are now working properly.
Thank you all so much for your products I will be watching to see what comes from freet in the future. I would love a pair of casual shoes in your range.. here’s hoping
