These boots exceeded my expectations! I was completely impressed, and I’m pretty sure everyone is sick of hearing me bang on about how awesome they are, even after only owning them for a day.
I am definitely buying a second pair asap as I pretty much live in boots between work, hiking, and well pretty much everywhere else too, just can’t decided if I get the same colour again or a different colour.
I went half a size up, and that was spot one for me.

I love these shoes, and when they arrived I put them on and was comfortably able to wear them all day, and did so for the next few days. They are all I wanted and more (and I've been looking for a quite a while for a light comfortable pair of this style of shoe). They do run small, and all previous comments re this were useful, so I ordered a pair 1.5 sizes above my usual and they fitted well. I have been wearing these boots for a few weeks now and I LOVE them. They are my first pair of barefoot shoes and my feet have never felt better. I get Raynaud's in my toes in the cooler weather, but since wearing these boots I haven't had any occurrences (which makes me think tight fitting shoes may have also been contributing). They are so comfy and easy to wear. They are like a barefoot blundstone boot. They are great to chuck on when I'm working in the yard, but also look quite nice when heading out and about. Will definitely be investing in more barefoot shoes.

Oh my goodness, Chelsea Boots where have to been all my life!!!! I wish I could take these back in time and start my life again. A lifetime of work boots that inevitably end up uncomfortable and lumpy and heavy. If you work outside, garden, walk dogs, have horses and need the protection of a work boot but find them heavy and clunky, try these. Light, comfy, waterproof. Sheesh

I'd been looking for a wide waterproof general purpose boot that I can wear around the farm during the wet and cold months. I have had these for a few weeks and have been wearing them every day, on the land and in town. They are light and comfortable and look like they will hold together well, but I suppose only time will tell.
If you have really wide feet like mine, I think these are great. This waterproof version does run small as advised, I'm wearing a US15 in these, but have just moved up to a US14 in another brand that runs true to size. In the warmer months I am mostly barefoot and so my feet have grown now that they are no longer imprisoned. I'm thinking these will be my go to shoes in future, so easy to pull on and off.

Super comfortable & nice looking boots. Can wear with business clothes or casual. I read the reccomendations to size up, sized up 1/2 a size and had to return for a full size up. Definetley run small. Id suggest 1.5 sizes up if you want to wear thick socks. Overall super comfortable to wear!

I love these shoes more than I imagined I could! They are really waterproof- not just water resistant. For example - my feet are dry in the rain when working in the garden.
I wear these shoes every day for my walks … and So happy! I just wonder how I care for them and keep them waterproof?
I ordered one full size up from what I normally wear and it’s good for me.

Have had these for about a month now and they are my absolute favourite go to shoe for just about everything now! Work, farm, garden and dog walks. Normally a size 8, went the full size up to a 9 and the fit was perfect. Waterproof, roomy and comfortable. Most boots give me blisters where they curve in around the ankle but these have been wonderful with not a single blister even after a full days wear when brand new. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

I like the ease of pull on boots but due to my narrow foot, they are slightly on the larger size for me( AU 7) even though I used the Lems size guide for Chelsea boots…I need to wear thick socks. Really like the wide toe box to enable my toes to stretch & my bunions not rubbing against the boot. Definitely waterproof which is great…& about to do some hikes in Tassie to properly test them out.

I've worn them everyday for over a year working with horses and they've held up really well and are so much better for my back than work boots. Just getting another pair so I have a less beat up version, the original are still comfy as! I thought I needed a half size down this time as they were pretty roomy, but the size down was too cramped, so I went back to what I had. I'm usually a womens US 9.5 and the 10 is perfect.

I had to send the first pair back as not fitting. The second pair is better but to get the foot size right means the ankle is way too big - even on an elastic boot!
Second pair also came with extra (unnecessary) pull on loop on back which means it doesn’t sit well with jeans!

This boot is a touch tighter across the top of foot and little toe area than the boulder summit boot in the same size am hoping it stretches a bit have worn everyday for 3 weeks great to pull on and waterproof is good will be amazing once stretches a bit

I have had these for a week and they are my favourite shoe I have ever had (sharing this honour with my pink Crocs).
I originally ordered a size 10.5, had to return for an 11 and these fit perfectly. Bprimal customer service was excellent and were very keen to help me find the right size.
I had to wait a few weeks as the Chelseas were preordered, but worth the wait.

These are my first pair of "minimalist" shoes, and I love them! I read reviews and followed the advice of ordering a size bigger than usual. This was great advice. I am usually WUS8.5, but ordered size WUS9 and they're a perfect fit.
The Chelsea boots are so comfortable. It's raining a lot in Sydney at the moment, so great that they're waterproof.
My boots will be getting plenty of wear!

I recommend buying a size smaller. I have bought many shoes online and have never had to send them back after using the site charts.
Unfortunately I have had to send these back for the next size up as they were just that bit too small.

I'm trying to transition to bare foot style shoes after 30 years of orthotics and plantar fasciitis. I'm able to fit my thin orthotics in these shoes comfortably and then pull them out and put the supplied innersoles in. It's not going to be a quick process but the boots are great and finally even though I always bought extra wide shoes my toes don't fill squished.

These are THE most comfortable boots! I often put them to quickly go outside and then find I just keep them on once inside as they are as comfortable as my UGG boots. Easy to get on and off. Super soft inner sole, love the wide toebox, great ankle support. Other recommendations say to size up which I did at first and then had to exchange back to my regular size (amazing exchange policy). Highly recommend!

After reading the fit guide I ordered half a size bigger than my normal women's US8.5, that is US9. I returned them and ordered US9.5 which work really well, allowing me to wear thicker socks if I want. I am looking forward to wearing these boots on my next walking holiday.

Unfortunately I did not read the sizing guide. I wore these for a day and thought by the end of the day that these aren't that wide or roomy. Then went back on the bprimal website to look at ordering a bigger size only to find the advice to order 1/2 to a full size up. Dammit! Ah well. Definitely heed this advice. I can't return them now, so I'll have to sell them privately. Don't be me.

I love the look of these boots and wore them all day straight away. The advice to order a half size up is wise as I originally ordered my usual size. BPrimal made the exchange process easy… very happy and bought another pair in obsidian to see me through winter.

The boots are very comfortable thanks to the wide toe design and the flat heel.
The advice of going half a size larger than my normal fitting proved to be be spot on.
My only suggestion would be to include a bit of soft padding at the top front of the ankle, as the thickness and stitching digs into my shins.
I am rubbing in some leather conditioner there to soften it up, so I am hoping it will improve with age.

I'm normally an 8.5 women's but ordered 9.5 and glad I did. Very comfortable I have the primal zen so used to that sole. Rugged and great for outdoor use so far, waiting for the weather to get colder so I can wear them more!

I bought these as a cold weather boot for one bag travelling and they do the job perfectly. Three weeks in mid-west USA in December/January with temps down to -10C with ice and snow on the ground and occasional wet weather. They were the only footwear I needed and went with all my clothes. I wore them with thin socks on the plane and merino ski socks outside in the cold and they were very comfortable. US security requires removal of shoes so being able to slip them on and off easily was great. I can’t fault them but do put in the effort to get the right size.

I own many shoes from bprimal - boulder boots, primal 2, joe nimble adventure toes, joe nimble city toes. All of these have been very comfortable and have also lasted well. I bought the Chelsea boots to wear for my work, which involves a lot of walking in paddocks and freshly ploughed fields where I monitor crops ! They are really far too nice for this use but I cannot wear the blundstone boots that other farm workers wear because they feel heavy on my feet and they pinch my toes. So far I have worn the Chelsea boots for two days. They feel lovely and light on my feet, yet also give my feet some protection and my toes can move easily, they are not pinched, and also being a boot rather than a lace up at the end of the day my feet were still clean. The dust and bits of soil and gravel did not get in at all. I am going to improve this further with the use of some gaiters.

Very happy LEMS come in waterproof. I have a narrow foot and was a bit weary if the boot will fit, that's why I went with my real size 8 instead of the recommendation to go half a number size up. It ended up being too small. Easy and fast return and exchange process. 8.5 is a little bit too big but fits perfect with thicker socks.

Because my lumbar spine is impinging 3 nerve roots I can only wear my Lems for short periods otherwise they would be comfortable for every day use.

I bought these for my Mum, according to the chart she was a 10.5 , they were too big so we exchanged for her regular size which is a 9. The 9 is a bit squishy but doable , if it wasn’t for the 2week turnaround she would have exchanged again for a 9.5….overall they look great & are very comfortable.

The digital sizing tool is innacurate and hasn't taken my toes into account when e n suggesting shoe sizes for this model is of shoe. I'm usually a 9 in women's. The tool suggested between 8.5 and 9.5 so I chose the 9.5 to be safe and they ate long enough but the toe box is in the shape of a Roman foot so my toeswhich are longer than my big toe hit and rub. It's so difficult buying shoes online and I'm not sure I'd risk the next size up if the toe box is the same... I really wanted these to fit.

I measured my feet accurately and also used the scanning tool to see what size I was in this brand but turns out both those methods are innacurate. Normally a 7 in men's 9 in women's I recommended 7.5 in men's by my measurements and the scanner. Those were too small so I exchanged for an 8 in men's.... Those are too small so now I'm going to exchange again for a 9 in men's 11 in women's! Taking me two full sizes above what I would normally wear and 1 and a half size above what was recommended using the provided technology. Here's to hoping the final pair fits...

Love my new Lems Chelsea Boots - super comfortable and no break-in period. They’ve become my everyday shoe for winter - they keep my feet dry and warm. And they look good enough that I can wear them into the office.
Bought the same size as my Lems Chillums and could have gone down half a size as these are a little wide around the middle of my foot and heel when I wear thin socks. However, they fit well with thick socks.
