Unfortunately, I have not found the shoe to be comfortable at all. The sole is really hard/firm, lack give and cushioning - only tolerable if on soft grass/dirt road; and the roof mesh at the toe box is "scratchy" with a rough material, so not very comfortable at the toes either.

very pleased to get this recent replacement pair of primal pursuits.
hoping V2 will address the long standing issues of unnecessary inner heel tearing as well as the unraveling outer shoe stitching.
absolutely must keep black as part of the inventory!!!
keep up the good work, my feet love you!!!

My boys wear these shoes to school and they hold up really well - they are very active kids and usually trash their shoes. They look cool too!

I bought the same shoes about 12 months ago and loved the shoes once I wore them in. However, the service this time was very disappointing. I understood the shoes had to come from the US and it said a waiting period of 3 weeks. After not hearing anything for 4 weeks I tried to communicate with the online chat and was told someone would follow it up. A week after hearing nothing I sent an email with NO RESPONSE. I left a phone message with NO RESPONSE. I got on the chat line thinking I had been scammed. Eventually, I got the shoes but would not recommend the service and was so disappointed.

Great shoe to wear daily so far but wish I’d bought a half size or size bigger.

Took 8 weeks to come and they are half a size small. I am normally 9.5 men's US. I bought size ten. A half size up as suggested by lems website for this shoe and still half size small

This is my third pair of these shoes. They are a go to in cooler weather.

About 1/2 a size smaller than normal. Had to take the insoles out to fit better. Not as wide and roomy as vivobarefoot, which may be a pro or con for you personally.
But overall a good barefoot (ish) shoe with heaps of padding.

Most comfortable footwear I have ever worn. I went up half a size from my usual and it they fit perfectly.
Ruth S.
Only negative is I should have gone up another 1/2 size bc a little small for my length.
Plenty of toe width room which was my main concern. I needed to replace a pair of shoes before a 20km event. Didn’t have enough time to properly break in (purchased a week before) but these were fantastic. I’ll be buying more in the future

I went with the size suggested by the sizing app and it is perfect. I would say they are quite narrow through the midfoot area and have a hard feel to the sole but are still very flexible in the forefoot area. I really like them. A perfect shoe for longer walks as I’m not able to go the full minimalist style shoes yet.

Love these shoes! They are a bit more supportive than a flexible barefoot shoe and are perfect for providing a greater level of foot protection. I wear them constantly.

Shoes looked great and seemed to match quality of previous Lems shoes I've owned.
Unfortunately I had to return them as I followed the size guide and bought a size up but they were way to long. Also worth noting that the width of the toebox was noticeably smaller than Primal 2's to me (to be expected as these use a different last and its in the product description)
For reference I'm a size US12 Lems Primal 2 and they are perfect so I bought these in US13.

Really upset about these shoes. I loved the look and the sole, however they are too narrow to fit correct toes in. I had to return them. Definitely follow the photo sizing tool.
James P.
I had to send them back. I’m waiting on a size bigger. I haven’t heard back about when they are coming. I don’t even know if they arrived back yet.

Have to give these a miss. I’m a huge fan of Lems but the sizing on theses is just totally off for me. I purchased a full size up and they were still too small. Plus the sole was not very flexi and very hard. My feet are well trained to walk barefoot but these just hurt. Definitely nothing to do with Bprimal themselves they are fab. Just very disappointed in the shoe as they look very good but had to return.
Josh
Sizing was perfect ( I went one size up)
Comfortable out of the box
Wider than the trailheads which I loved but these are even comfier and my toes feel great in them

Excellent products and great service

Love the shoes. Almost too narrow for my foot which is fairly narrow. They were comfortable from the get go!

These are a great everyday shoe - very comfortable and the toe box was wide enough for me. Unfortunately the inner lining in the heel had no durability at all. Both sides started developing holes after a few weeks, then all the foam fell out behind them, leaving my heel sliding around at the rear. This was possibly exacerbated by taking orthotics in and out, but that has not caused the inner lining to tear in any of my other shoes.

Lems have made a great shoe climbing ladders up on rooftops, to a quick little forest trek great ninja shoe

I'm a very standard women's EU37/US6.5/UK4 but used the site's sizing app and ended with the wrong size. Twice. Eventually got the women's US 7.5. Nice width and depth for my feet, materials a bit stiff and not springy to walk in. Not as soft and grippy as Freet Pace and not as durable and comfortable as Vivobarefoot Geocourt, my two favourite shoes. However, I bought the Lems to wear as a casual sneaker that doesn't look quite so barefoot as the others and for that purpose I would recommend them.

Second pair of Lems shoes, i have the boulder boot as well. Very dubious to buy a womens us 11, im usually a 9-9.5 but the size guide was spot on and they fit perfectly.
Amazingly light and comfortable shoe and very stoked with my purchase.

Excellent shoe, I have had several pair of vivo but I prefer these.

I don’t tend to wear shoes much. But honestly these don’t feel like I’m wearing them anyway. Can’t recommend enough.
James Stewart
The Lems Chukkas and Boulder boots are quite a bit wider and fit me perfectly, so these are a bit tight on my wide feet, but are still the best fitting running shoes I've owned. Very well made shoes too.

I normally take a 7.5 but I bought the 8 and even that was a whisker too short and I had to return them and get the 8.5. However have now worn them on a walk and I couldn’t be happier. My toes feel free for the first time and now my other walking boots feel like prison! Will have to get some more!
Rowena Mitchell
Show ran small in comparison to boulder boot, after going through exchange process in hindsight should have gone a full size bigger. Found the shoe hard, hot and heavy. Have ankle pain when walking and running in them. I love my boulder boots and primal 2 so was expecting big things from this shoe but was a bit disappointed.

seem good so far but haven't taken them on a long walk yet. Very happy with the room in the toes. for the first time ever my toes are not squashed. Sizes small - I normally take 7.5 or 8 and bought 8 but ended up having to return and get 8.5.

Ive got 3 pairs of Lems but the Primal Pursuit are my new favs.
they are wider in the toe box than the TrailHead. And Bprimal team were spot on with sizing recommendations. I use for everyday shoes and for walks or whatever you need they’ll handle it.
Arnhem HUNTER
Still easing into by first pair of barefeet shoes so alternating them with “normal” New Balance 4EEs (with arch cut out of liner…) until my feet get used to zero drop - lurv the toe box!
Luke
These are my second pair of Lems, I also have the Primal 2s. I was attracted to these because they fit wider and have a nice street look.
First thing I did was toss the inserts. I’m not a fan of the heel cushioning on them. I had the inserts left over from my Primals and threw them in instead. To me they’re way better.
I’m a 4e fit and my bunion is pressed a little in these shoes, they’re definitely not as roomy in the toe box as the Primals but I expected that. They also seem to fit slightly shorter than the Primals, so if you have Primals and they’re snug, you’ll have to go a size bigger in these.
I’d love to see a version of these with a thinner and more flexible outsole. It would make them perfect I reckon, but overall a comfortable shoe that looks great.
