Lems - Primal Zen - Asphalt (Unisex)

Regular price Sale

If you’re already a fan of the Primal 2, then consider the Primal Zen its heir apparent. We took the components you love in the Primal 2 - the wide toe box and the flexible IBR outsole - and built a shoe on a new platform that wraps around your foot like a glove. For a more comfortable feel, we also added 2mm of extra sole for added protection and durability.

We didn’t call this shoe “Zen” for nothing. In shoes this comfortable, all of your worries will just slip away. This super minimalist, kicking-around-town shoe offers a wider outsole width than the Primal 2, and a touch more cushion while still keeping the weight off, at just 230g. The Primal Zen's slick construction also includes an attached tongue that won't fall out of position, and slightly stretchy laces to give you the perfect fit across the top of your foot. The cork footbed guarantees your feet will stay cool comfortable, with or without socks. With so much comfort designed into this shoe, you'll truly feel like you're wearing nothing at all!

Fantastic addition to the Lems line-up

As a long time wearer of the Lems Primal 2, and having recommended them to many clients from my podiatry practice over the years, I was excited to test the Primal Zen. The Primal Zen fit and felt the same as the Primal 2, which is how it has been advertised. I have already recommended the Zen to clients who will benefit from a bit more rubber under their feet for high volume walking compared with the Primal 2.

"Zen" is appropriate. My fav shoes, nothing bad to say.

Amazing! Best shoes I own! "Zen" is an appropriate description for my experience. They're super wide, perhaps not quite as wide as the primal 2, which I also own, but wide enough still for my super-wode feet. The sole is stable - doesn't taper thinner left and right as does the primal 2. If there were some more colour options I'd buy another pair. I've also found the extra wide version Whtin shoes great, but there are a few aspects that aren't quite perfect whereas these get my highest rating across every aspect like traction, feet don't slide around, I like having some tread, plus to me they look better.

good quality shoes, should be priced lower but

I have worn Lems for years, I still think the Primal ones are best, I like the Zen primal, same Lems quality, zero drop, good build but should be priced lower, not worth the extra IMO, still good!

    Comfy

This is my second pair of Lems and like the first pair, they are comfortable straight out of the box. Plenty of room in the toebox and a nice shape to the cork inner sole.

    Feet Are Amazing!

The foot and ankle is a complex mechanical structure made up of 26 bones, 33 joints and over 100 muscles, tendons and ligaments.

The average person takes 8,000-10,000 steps each day. That adds up to approximately 185,000 km's in a typical lifetime—the equivalent to circling the globe more than four times!

Your feet have about 250,000 sweat glands which produce up to a cup of perspiration each day.

There are approximately 8,000 nerves in the feet—that’s more per square centimeter

In an average day of walking, your feet experience forces totalling hundreds of tons—the equivalent of a fully-loaded cement truck.

Women experience foot problems four times more often than men. This is largely attributed to shoe choice. High heels and toes with pointy, narrow toe boxes cause multiple foot issues.

Natural Foot Shaped, Flexible, Flat & Lightweight

Barefoot shoes mirror the shape and the natural curve of the feet, allowing them to move as nature intended.

Barefoot Shoes not only strengthen all the muscles in the foot, but they also help the foot develop in the correct way to prevent deformities.

Strengthening your feet by exercising and wearing minimalist shoes can improve your posture and prevent pain and injuries.

For many people, barefoot shoes also provide relief and improvement for existing problems like knee pain, back pain, bunions, and more.

We believe your feet deserve better

Are You New To Barefoot Shoes?

Make sure to listen to your body and transition to functional footwear slowly. Consider wearing your new shoes for short periods at first and then gradually increase the time as your feet and body adapt to the changes.
