The Primal Pursuit Mid is the same shoe as the Primal Pursuit, only with a little more height, waterproof protection, and a suede upper. That’s right, splish splash, take that bath. In these, you can puddle jump, hike through mud, and get caught in the rain while your feet stay nice and dry.
Think of the Primal Pursuit Mid as a hybrid of the Primal 2 and the Trailhead/Mesa. We incorporated all of the features you have grown to love about these shoe models into one new and improved style! The fit and feel is the same as the Primal 2, only with a bit more oomph, like the Trailhead/Mesa, in order to navigate over rocks and roots like a pro.
The new Trail Traction Outsole features a slightly higher stack height and more cushion than the Primal 2, without tacking on too much extra weight. The materials include an air mesh upper that allows for maximum air flow to wick away moisture and keep you presentable for a post-hike brewski with friends. The Primal Pursuit Mid features the same zero-drop heel and wide toe box as the Primal 2 that allows the toes to behave like they are meant to - free and splayed.
