It's always a little daunting buying a new pair of shoes from a manufacturer you aren't familiar with online. I was pleasantly surprised with these shoes though. They are all day walking comfortable and the wider toebox suits me perfectly. Would definitely recommend these.
I wanted to love the Trailhead V2, but unfortunately they're just not wide enough for my foot and too stiff for my liking. Nice looking shoe, but not what I'd come to expect from Lems. Absolutely no issue with the service from BPrimal. Efficient and hassle free delivery and return.
Thanks for the review Jason. Lems designed these as a Transition shoe so they are not as flexible and minimal as some of the other Lems Models you might be accustomed to. I would recommend checking back in with us next year when Lems release a new model called the Primal Pursuit - which will have a trail outsole similar to the Trailhead, but an upper similar to the Primal 2. We cant wait!
Everything they said it would be. Love them. Comfy and light. Can’t wait to go hiking nz in them
Don't feel narrower than my nine 2 fives or Primals but are an absolute cracking all terrain sports shoe. Awesome
I have loved these shoes right out of the box from my first hike. They look great and they perform even better. Perfect combination of comfort and ground feel- as in you can feel completely the ground under your feet, but without the discomfort of feeling everything under your feet! Makes them perfect for rock scrambling and rough trails. As well as trails they've been great on sand (practically no sand got in the shoes amazingly!), and cool and comfortable around the streets. Good on wet surfaces too, the grip is really good. First time I've worn shoes without ankle support hiking, which I thought might bother me, but really didn't at all. Also first shoes I've worn hiking that I haven't wanted to take off immediately for the drive home! Honestly, loving these. Thanks bprimal for stocking a vegan shoe that is actually really really good!
